Proof of concept process

As part of the PoC, we will set up an initial calcIT basic configuration for you in an abbreviated timeline. In addition to a calculation structure based on your requirements, this also contains simple libraries and master data as well as predefined output templates (Word/Excel).

Next Steps

Following the PoC phase, the PoC system serves as a starting point and template for the later go-live of the final system. This means that the implementation effort during the productive implementation is significantly reduced.

AGILE calcIT PRODUCTIVE LAUNCH

The calcIT implementation project basically runs in several phases, which can differ depending on the software requirements. The result of each phase is a functional version of calcIT, which is jointly examined in a fit-gap analysis to ensure that it covers your requirements. Each subsequent phase is based on the results of the previous phase or analysis.

BASIC CONFIGURATION

After the kick-off, we will work with you to develop the minimum requirements for a basic system tailored to your needs (scoping session) based on a suitable industry template. The architecture of the basic configuration consists of component types, hierarchy rules, calculation rules, simple output templates and simple libraries.

INDIVIDUAL CALCULATION SCHEME

Based on the calcIT basic configuration, we refine and supplement the calculation structures at all levels. Hierarchies, input masks and column views are optimized and specific calculation rules are incorporated. In addition, we map relevant special and special cases or alternative calculation variants.

LIBRARIES

In order to fill the calculation with appropriate data and structures, we help you establish libraries and master data. To import data or migrate data from other systems, we create import settings for Excel files and/or, if necessary, simple data interfaces.

EDITIONS & REPORTS

We’ll create various Word and Excel output templates (for quotes and cost reports respectively) according to your technical and layout requirements. Additionally, it is also possible to insert graphic elements, such as product images or diagrams.

FEATURES & INTERFACES

We’ll work closely with you to develop concepts for additional functions and non-calculating data structures such as orders, warehouse lists and CRM functions. Additionally, we’ll work with the respective specialist departments to design solutions for connecting calcIT to any third-party software in use.

TESTS & TRAINING

Before Go-Live, we perform extensive testing of all elements of the calcIT system both internally and together with you. If necessary, all interface processes are also tested. We make the final adjustments to the system and accompany you in the training and onboarding of end users.
